From new build to period property, each project begins with a consultation where we will listen carefully to you, getting to know your aspirations and requirements.
Before the design process begins, a thorough site appraisal will be undertaken along with a site survey where the space and everything within it is measured. Depending on the size and complexities of the site a full topographical survey may need to be carried out. This can be arranged on your behalf.
A design brief is then put together from which mood boards and a concept sketch is created. Once the concept stages have been agreed upon the master layout plan can be created. This drawing will include all the details of the completed design. 3D visuals can also be drawn up allowing you to really visualise your new space.
Planting ideas will be discussed throughout the design process and, should you wish, a comprehensive planting plan can also be created for you.
Garden Consultation and Appraisal
Maybe you're not ready to commit to a new design but would like some information about your site and soil type, aspect and where to begin when you first start thinking about creating your garden. A consultation can be booked and information for a thorough appraisal is gathered. A report detailing the essentials of your space and the things to consider will then be completed and sent to you. This document is a vital starting point whether you intend to employ a designer, landscaper or create your own garden.
Border Design and Planting Plans
For those who do not need a full design but would like to revamp old borders or plant up new.
Lucille will spend time getting to know your style, needs and goals as well as your space. She will comprise a comprehensive planting plan that you can follow yourself or she can supply and plant up for you. Lucille follows the the mantra 'right plant right place' to ensure that her designs are long lasting.
